| Very soon thereafter, I hooked up with drummer, Alan Myers (DEVO) and we started a band that stayed together three years. Alan was a sage of a teacher to help this "green" young woman! During that first year, things were off to a bang (working with Alan and Jon Ingoldsby who engineered for Elton John and Madonna. We did a song called "Pearl" that landed me a demo deal with A&M Records because of my voice and the song. That song has now been placed in two films - I am happy to say. I met Chris Lord-Alge around that time frame. Chris is a very talented producer and mixer extraordinaire. He has worked with many (Tina Turner, Joe Cocker, Bruce Springstein) to name only a few. Chris came to several shows before approaching me to work with him. What a great opportunity! I have also been blessed to have had the privilege, since that time, of working with Mike Clink (Guns and Roses); Tal Herzberg (Beth Hart); C.J. DeVillar (Michael Jackson, Sisqo, Baby Face); Michael Woodrum (Queen LaTifa, The Neptunes), as well as the talent of the musicians on "PORTAL" - who have their own list of credits of known artists they've worked with.
